Joan I. Miller, 79, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born August 29, 1945 in Lloydell, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Irene (Boyle) Brenna.
She was a graduate of Triangle Area High School, Cambria County, PA with the Class of 1963. Alongside her late husband, Joan owned and operated Miller’s Sunoco on Lincoln Way West since 1966. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joan is survived by two children, Candy Miller of Chambersburg and Todd Miller of Greencastle; two grandchildren, Tiffany and Darian Miller; and triplet great grandsons, Zachary, Izaac and Joshua Miller; two sisters, Sharon Armstrong and Audrey Chapman; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Irvin E. Miller who passed away January 9, 2016 and two brothers, John and William “Dan” Brenna.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, September 23, 2024 in St. Thomas Cemetery, Pioneer Drive, St Thomas, PA 17252 with Rev. Harold Yeager officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Sunday evening in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
