A beloved daughter, sister, niece, aunt and friend, Eileen Marie Hess, 43, of Greencastle, PA, passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 17, 2024.
Born August 13, 1981, in Waynesboro, PA, she is the daughter of Rick A. and Rebecca E. (Hull) Hess of Greencastle.
She graduated from Greencastle Antrim High School with the class of 1999. She previously worked as an Operations Manager for Home Goods.
Eileen knew how to brighten your day with her beautiful smile and charming ways. She loved being “Aunt Leenie” to her nieces and nephew, whom she adored! She had a wonderful sense of humor, and enjoyed doing artwork and making all kinds of crafts. She was also very passionate about all of her dogs she had over the years. Her memory will be cherished by her family and friends, who will always remember her warmth, creativity, and love for her furry companions.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Charles R. Hess (Ashleigh); her nieces Melanie and Natalie Hess and her nephew, C. Elliott Hess; her aunts: Pat Hull, Nancy Hess and Deborah Brand; and an uncle, Ronald Hess.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles and Frances Hull and paternal grandparents, John and Evelyn Hess.
Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
