Wanda M. Locke, 100, of Chambersburg, PA and formerly of Fort Loudon, PA passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 in Transitions Healthcare Shook Home. Born in Quinwood, WV she was the daughter of the late Burless and Grace (Faulkner) Bryant.
Mrs. Locke was primarily a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafting and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by four children, Margaret Bream and her husband Jay of Fort Loudon, PA, Jim Wade and his wife Nancy, of Annapolis, MD, Fred Wade and his wife Tammy of Rural Retreat, and Jack Wade and his wife Patty of Florida; six grandchildren, Jeff Wade, Jay Bream, II, Kim Wade, Wanda Rumford, Jennifer Smith, and Teresa Wade; nine great-grandchildren; a brother Ernie Bryant and his wife Gwen of Edgewood, MD; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Wade; her second husband, Alfred Locke; and five siblings, Lewis, Bobby, Burless, Jr., Nedia, and Jessie.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
