Mr. Thomas H. Hunt, Sr., 77, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024 in Paramount Senior Living, Fayetteville, PA.
Born May 5, 1947 in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles Henry Hunt and Elizabeth L. “Honey” (Ayres) Hunt.
Mr. Hunt served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, spending time stationed in Thailand.
He was a member of the American Legion in Mercersburg, PA.
Mr. Hunt is survived by three sons, Thomas H. Hunt, Jr. and his wife, Christina of Mercersburg, Christopher K. Hunt and his wife, Eva of Illinois and Joshua M. Hunt and his wife, Phillipa of Chambersburg; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Elizabeth Kiraly and her husband, Frank; one brother, Wayne Hunt and his wife, Nora; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Kathleen Selmon.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 26, 2024 in Brown’s Mill Cemetery, near Kauffman Station, PA.
Military graveside honors will be conducted by the Honor Guard of Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post # 1599, Chambersburg.
Arrangements are by Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
