William H. " Billy" Spriggs, Sr., 74, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at home. He was born February 18, 1951 in Chambersburg, the son of the late Viola (Doleman) and Albert Spriggs Sr. He worked at Letterkenny Army Depot as a Painting Supervisor for many years and volunteered at the Mckinley Street Fire Dept. Billy loved to ride his motorcycle, belonged to a Motorcycle Club and had a passion for all types of hunting and fishing. William is survived by his son, William H. Spriggs Jr., two grandchildren, Laquonne T. Spriggs and Destiny D. Spriggs, all of Chambersburg, a brother, John Doleman of York, PA, a sister, Edna Mae Woods of Detroit MI and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three siblings: Albert Spriggs Jr, Joseph Doleman and Helen Doleman Webb. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Unity in Christ Church, 4301 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA, at 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Lois Waters officiating.
