Edna M. Keller of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania died peacefully on February 10, 2025. The younger of fraternal twin sisters born December 8, 1932 in Burnt Cabins, PA she was the last surviving of the eight children of Harry S. (1889-1960) and Hadessa “Dessie” Mae (Clymans) Locke (1895-1987). Edna was the widow of V. Charles “Charlie” Keller, Sr. (1923-2009). She attended one-room schools as a child and graduated from Orbisonia, PA High School in 1951, moving with her parents to Chambersburg where she worked briefly at the Stanley Company before removing to York, PA to earn a Secretarial degree. Edna was a devoted wife and mother who balanced hercareer as a clerical worker at Letterkenny Army Depot and other federal agencies in Chambersburg with raising a family of five children and supporting them in all their endeavors. She enjoyed music and visits with children and grandchildren and was a member of King Street United Brethren Church.

Edna is survived by her children, Vagel C. Jr. and wife Deborah Mitchell, Paul E., Valerie Anne and husband David Schmidt, Timothy J. and wife Jennifer, and David S. and wife Rebecca Keller and by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband of fifty-four years, she was preceded in death by siblings Lee, Dorothy Murphy, Kenneth, Charles, Betty Wible Tarner, John, and twin sister Edith Martin Plummer.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 14, 2025, in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA, where Rev. Ron Cook will officiate. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Friday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home above. Interment will follow the service on Friday at 2:00 PM inPleasant Hill Cemetery, Shade Gap, Pennsylvania.
