Christopher Scott Van Horn, 56 of Catonsville, Maryland and currently residing in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, tragically passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Born in Baltimore, MD on February 21, 1968, he was the son of the late Kenly C. and Carol A. Van Horn.
Chris was a graduate of Catonsville High School, Baltimore Maryland, Class of 1986. For many years, Christopher worked as a local bartender and was known and loved by many. He was a dedicated and affectionate son who would give you the shirt off his back. He enjoyed dirt track racing and music and he was a great cook. Chris was a member of the Owl Club in Waynesboro, PA.
Surviving is his wife, Nancy Van Horn, whom he married in 2017, his sister, Amy E. Van Horn, and his niece, Emma K. Newell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Van Horn in 2015.
A Mass of Remembrance will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, 11:00 am at St Joseph’s Monastery Parish, 3801 Old Frederick Rd. Baltimore, MD 21229. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA.
