Beverly J. McGowan, 76 of Hagerstown, MD passed away, Saturday, May 20, 2023 in Doey’ House, Hagerstown. Born May 16, 1947 in Campbelltown, PA she was the daughter of the late George and Grace Boyd.
She was employed as an English and British Literature teacher for South Hagerstown High School and Washington County Tech School. Beverly retired in 2010.
She is survived by two children, Patrick McGowan and his wife Melissa of Hagerstown and Erin McGowan and two grandchildren, Cassius and Augustus.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by SimpleChoice Cremation Services, Inc, Chambersburg, PA.
