June D. (Baughman) Rhone, 95, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025, in the peacefulness of her home surrounded by her loving family. June was the second youngest child in her family with four siblings including Norman Baughman, Jack Baughman, Janice "Sue" (Baughman) Hayes, and Leon Baughman. June had a zest for life and anyone who knew her would say that she was full of personality. She was humorous, kind-hearted, and was always willing to help others. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother throughout her life. June adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her late husband, Frank. She loved shopping with her late daughter, Donna, and they would spend countless hours talking, watching TV, and delighting in each other’s company. She loved Boston Terriers, and most recently, was fond of her cat, Boots. She had a passion for cooking and canning, bluegrass music, and found solitude in watching the birds outside her window. June worked at The Stanley Company as a presser, and later worked at Caledonia Manor in food service until retirement. She was a charter member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, and in her early days with the church, she sang special music and helped in the Sabbath School department. She is survived by her two sons, Phillip (Tom) Rhone and his wife Vicki, and Timothy R. Rhone, all from Fayetteville; her nine grandchildren, Holly Yost (Kevin), Shane Henning (Amanda), Jessica Senior (Brandon), Christopher Rhone, Richard Henning, Rebecca Rhone (Vinnie), Amy Statler (Brad), Brittany Gelsinger (Benjamin), and Shayna Henry (Riley); as well as her 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband (Franklin T. Rhone), two children (Donna K. Rhone)(Christopher Rhone), and one grandchild (Jade Rhone).
