Jamison Door Company, a part of the Hagerstown community for 118 years, celebrated the grand reopening of its historic manufacturing headquarters in Hagerstown on Wednesday, Dec. 11, marking a significant milestone in its long history. The event commenced at 8 a.m. with refreshments, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m. The recent $700,000 expansion includes a state-of-the-art showroom, an updated office area and a canteen breakroom designed for the company’s team of 105 employees. Known for its exceptional craftsmanship and innovative door solutions, Jamison has built a global reputation over the years. Attendees were invited to view historical exhibits, including a timeline of the company’s legacy and one of the first wooden cold storage doors produced.
