Mr. Chad Hollingshead, 58, of Greencastle, PA, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday morning, October 12, 2024, in Greencastle.
Born May 19, 1966, in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Frederick B. “Fred” and Viola Mae “Dolly” (Suffecool) Hollingshead.
He and his wife, Deborah K. (Barlup) Hollingshead were married July 1, 1994 in Hagerstown, MD.
Chad was an avid hunter and fisher. He enjoyed taking trips to upstate Pennsylvania where he was a member of a sportsman’s club. But, above all else, he was a family man who got the most enjoyment out of spending time with those who meant the most to him, his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Corey Hollingshead and his wife Leanna, Josh Hollingshead and his wife Jenny, all of Greencastle, 7 grandchildren, Paige, Kaylee, Ellie, Austin, Lillian, Harper, and Wesley, and a brother, Travis Hollingshead, of Greencastle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Hollingshead, and an infant twin brother, Michael Hollingshead.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
