Terry W. Ebersole, 81, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at the Chambersburg Hospital with his family and friends around him. Born May 25, 1942 in Hagerstown, MD he was the son of the late Raymond W. and Dorothy J. (Goetz) Ebersole.
He was employed as a machine mechanic at J. Schoenemans. He also served as an officer with the union at J. Schoenemans.
Terry loved working and volunteering with the local fire departments and fire police throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, and picking on his wife. More than anything, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren they were his world. Terry was always the life of the party.
Terry is survived by his wife, Patricia G. Ebersole; three daughters, Tracy Hershey (Donald) of Chambersburg, Janet Giles (Michael) of Coral Spring, FL, and Sharon Carey (Jake) of Chambersburg; three sons, Timothy Ebersole (Melissa) of Chambersburg, Michael Ebersole (Jessica) of Fairfield, PA, and Johnny Brandenburg of Chambersburg; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister; Sharon Gunder of Waynesboro, PA and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson, Dereck Middlekauff and three sisters, Nancy Stevens, Judy Ebersole, and Shirley Green.
There will be a Celebration of Life from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at the Chambersburg VFW Post #1599, 747 South 4TH Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
