Linda Kay Henry, 73, of Fayetteville, PA passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in her home surrounded by family and friends. Born June 6, 1950 in she was the daughter of the late Joseph Gardner and Geraldine Haid.
Linda loved to go hunting and fishing with her husband, Jerry along with watching their favorite soap opera together. She enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies and her little man, Boyddie Boy aka “Blackie”. Linda was the best wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, dog mom and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jerry Henry; three daughters, Christine Winters, Kelly Winters, and Michele Runkles; and a grandson whom she raised as her own son Frederick Demps, Jr.; two sisters Lorraine Mays and husband, Kim and Melissa Hummwood; a brother Joseph Gardner, Jr. and wife Cheryl; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Beth Ann Schwartz.
There will be a service for close family and friends at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to SimpleChoice Cremation Services Inc. of Chambersburg.
