FROSTBURG, Md. – A team of four management students from Frostburg State University won second place in the Written Case Competition at the Society for Advancement of Management’s 2024 International Business Conference held in Orlando, Florida.
The team, consisting of Teresa Wolfe, Mychael McKay, Eric Denham and Shannon Casey, along with faculty advisors Dr. Michael Monahan and Dr. Amit Shah, traveled to Orlando for the conference held from March 21-23.
The Frostburg State students competed against nine other teams from various universities in the Written Case Competition category, defending their analysis of Affordable HealthCare Network – America.
In addition to the team’s second-place finish, Frostburg State student Teresa Wolfe also won third place in the Extemporaneous Speech Competition at the conference.
