CHAMBERSBURG – Every teacher at the Franklin County Career and Technology Center knows the faces of Mason Quach and Landon Stine – the go-to students for solving technology problems around the school.
As seniors in the Information Systems Technology (IST) program, Quach and Stine have become the resident tech support experts, stepping in to fix printers, laptops, and smart boards whenever issues arise.
“These two have the skills to keep CareerTech running,” the school said in a statement. “Printer off-line, blue screen on your laptop, Smartboard seems not so smart…these two have the know-how to solve it all.”
Quach is also a member of the school’s successful SkillsUSA state team. When he’s not troubleshooting technology, Quach enjoys golfing, fishing, and gaming. He has worked as a summer IT department intern at the career center and also holds a part-time job at BJ’s Wholesale Club. After graduation, Quach plans to continue his education at York College of Pennsylvania, where he will study Information Systems Management.
Landon Stine, a Shippensburg High School student, spends his free time focused on health and fitness, with a passion for weight training, exercise, and nutrition. In addition to his tech support duties, Stine works part-time at Pague & Fegan Hardware. He plans to major in Business Information Systems & Analytics or Computer Science at Shippensburg University in the fall.
