Mrs. Gladys M. Snodderly Biser, 79, of Hagerstown, died Monday, December 22, 2014, at Williamsport Retirement Village. She was the wife of Mr. John S. Biser, her husband of 58 years.
Born April 4, 1935, in Hagerstown, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Paul, Sr., and Margaret Oda Mae Frush Snodderly.
Gladys was a member of the former Grace Brethren Church.
She was also an Auxiliary member of the Potomac Post 202 American Legion, Williamsport.
Surviving besides her husband are her children, Lucinda A. “Cindy” Boden and husband Denny, and Terry L. Biser and wife Diane, all of Hagerstown; grandchildren, Jamie L. Boden and Tara M. Biser; as well as her siblings, Ernest P. Snodderly, Jr., Leonard E. Snodderly and wife Pat, and Cleo L. Burger, all of Hagerstown.
In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her sister, Thelma V. Jones.
The family will receive friends at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 East Antietam Street, Hagerstown, on Friday, December 26, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 27, 11:00 AM, at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown. Her pastor, Rev. Stephen E. Wagoner will officiate.
