Get Artsy. The third annual Artists Studio Tour is set to take place in Fayetteville, on Friday, Dec. 6, and Saturday, Dec. 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.. This event will showcase the work of 24 artists across 12 different in-home studio locations within the Penn National community and beyond. Visitors can expect a diverse range of artistic mediums, including photography, pottery, stained glass and oil painting. Attendees will have the chance to enter door prize drawings at each studio, with more entries increasing their chances of winning. Light refreshments will be served through out the event.

Experience Christmas on the Farm. The Renfrew Museum and Park in Waynesboro is set to host its annual Christmas on the Farm event on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 6 and 7, from 3 to 8 p.m. This festive celebration invites visitors to rediscover the joys of Christmas past through a variety of activities, including tours, wagon rides, live music and crafts. Guests will be enchanted by the warm glow of lanterns leading them to the beautifully decorated Museum House, where they can learn about evolving holiday traditions. With period-attired interpreters sharing stories in historic outbuildings, a cozy warming circle for enjoying seasonal treats and opportunities for shopping at the museum shop and Christkindlmarkt, attendees are promised an unforgettable experience filled with holiday cheer.

Do a cocoa crawl- On Friday, Dec. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m., the Downtown Chambersburg community will host the annual Cocoa Crawl, inviting residents and visitors to sample unique hot cocoa recipes from local businesses. Participants can vote for their favorite cocoa, with a chance to win a gift certificate to a member business of their choice. Tickets for the event are available online through the Downtown Business Council of Chambersburg and include a commemorative mug. Attendees can also purchase mugs and wristbands starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Courthouse Plaza, making it an evening filled with festive flavors and community spirit.

Swap puzzles. The Lilian Besore Memorial Library in Greencastle will host a Puzzle Swap event from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. Participants are encouraged to bring in new or gently used puzzles to exchange with others, ensuring that all pieces are accounted for. Each individual can bring a maximum of 10 puzzles and is welcome to take home as many as they bring. This community gathering aims to foster connections among puzzle enthusiasts while promoting the joy of sharing and recycling puzzles.

Join the pajama party fun. The annual Polar Express Pajama Party & Movie is set to delight families in Chambersburg on Saturday, Dec. 7. Hosted at the historic Capitol Theatre, the event promises a festive atmosphere with a pajama party starting at 11 a.m., followed by a screening of the beloved holiday film at noon. Attendees are encouraged to wear their coziest pajamas and enjoy a hot cocoa bar themed around the movie, with each ticket including one complimentary cup. Additional snacks such as popcorn and candy will be available for purchase at the concessions stand. This year’s event also features a special appearance by Santa, making it an exciting outing for children and families alike.
